Avast! Your journey upon the seas has begun! Other ships have gone missing in the area, but they’ve never met a navigator like you before! But the clouds are starting to look pretty dark… And is that… a pirate ship??

In Sea Food, you need to defeat waves of pirates in the hopes of surviving the storm! But these aren’t your ordinary pirates. These nasty thieves and vagabonds look like they want more than all the gold onboard your ship… You’ll have to fight off every single pirate if you hope to see the sun again.

Meet your companions, a nervous fish and a rambunctious ferret! They will heed your every command on your journey.

Seafood is a card game. In simplest terms, you take control of the hearts and diamonds of the deck in order to defeat the spades and clubs. There are weapons, items, and health to give you the edge you will need. Manage your resources, run from difficult fights, but know that only through careful strategy will you defeat every card standing in the way of you and victory!

This game was made for August Tummy Jam. Thanks to everyone who supported us, gave us advice and feedback, and stuck around to the end! Let us know who your favourite character is!!

So happy it's on mobile

Cute and simple. Scoundrel is a great game; not sure how you found the inspiration to turn it into this, but hell yeah, why not. Hope to see more works like this.

For some reason the android version gives me the issue of "you can't install the app on your device". But the windows version is very good

(-1)

very cool concept and fun gameplay!! reminds me of the keelhaulin' card game from the sims 2 ds but with a twist :3

(+2)(-1)

This was actually very challenging but really fun!!

pretty good for those who do not give up easy after a few losses cause whoosh, the game is a bit unforgiving

I managed after like 1 hour to get them both to survive, I love the art style so much in this game, its so cute.

Hope to see more like this, in different styles too would be amazing!!

Why was there a pixel art of this randomly on Wplace 🤣 https://wplace.live/?lat=43.35554083548382&lng=-77.43752962822266&zoom=13.017249...

Is there a fanclub in this particular place?

(+1)

wish there was CV in this game

"HARPOONERS! FIRE!"
God I love limbus company (or forsaken since thats where I remember this line coming from.. I still think Limbus Company is better [especially in terms of story], but whatever.)

(+2)

Okay I just want to say that this artstyle is sooooo adorable and and stylish I hope we could see more of that in the future!!

(+2)

I'd be very willing to throw money at this to get more of it cause I was instantly hooked by the gameplay. The noms were a great bonus hehe

Loving the pixel art and music too really well done so far hope too see more though!

(+2)

Great little game!  As others mentioned: If you haven't played the 2011 card game Scoundrel then tutorial on weapons, repairing, and how they work isn't intuitive.

---

Still I'm lovin' the different challenge runs I've seen in the comments.  Definitely going to try for the Weapon-with-Ace-down-through-to-2 challenge soon!

(Try the following once you've beaten the game and get how it works)

Challenge 1: Finish without anyone getting ate. Bonus if you can do it while both characters are holding the Ace rope

Challenge 2: First (Jack) fox that shows up will eat the ferret on the spread he appeared or the next. Finish the rest of the game with your new (useless) fox companion.

Challenge 3: (I'm still attempting this)  Same, but with the fish getting ate instead. Jack might be too low, so may try upping this to King to see if it's even viable. (Repair is way too good)

Challenge 4: Use the fish and get a 9 or 10 weapon (Since they're the only way to deal with an 'Ace/14' kraken via the fish) and have it completely filled with all monsters from Ace down to 2

----

Anyone else got their own challenge runs?

Ooh, I loved this. Especially the ferret~

Love the art style, the teasy dialogue, the catchy music, and the gameplay is fun too. I honestly can't get enough of this.

Would love to see this turned into a full game. Would be fun if our protagonists could nom their enemies too~

(+1)

will there be anything of like a showcase of card gallery with info?

These pirates are not the type to force "Walk the Plank".
But...

(+1)

love the mobile build!! Needs a real ending or replayability (cards gone through count up, end of deck resets it and keeps your score, and have a leaderboard with developer highscores?

(+7)

Wish there was a slightly bigger reward for winning. Even just a sprite of the two sailors being happy or something, as it stands the game feels like it kinda ends abruptly and there wasn't much reason not to full-sacrifice one of them and keep the dangerous cards at the bottom of the deck to do so.

It doesn't seem possible to win this game, like at  all.  You might as well fill a deck with nothing but ace of spades and 2 of hearts.  You'll get the same result.

Aces, no matter what suit they are, should be a rescue.  Otherwise the game is way too frustrating to deal with.

On top of the fact that a matching number counts as "too damaged" which is kind of dumb.

(+7)

Ill be honest, its pretty easy to win the game when you understand the mechanics. You could clear without rescue at all I simply think that the tutorial needs to be expanded and clarified on.

Skill issue

I have a question? Is Dragoneaters on here a safe game? I didn't open the file but virustotal detected I think a trojan or something and malwarebytes didn't detect nothing. The game has been out for a bit and Idk which vore games are safe. :/

(+1)(-1)

Fun little game, but when ya use the cards you pull correctly you can easily turn losing situations into winning situations. I beat the game, and I still had a Rescue AND a T1 repair, on my like 7th attempt :3

(+3)(-1)

Really cute lil game, alot of fun to play!
only suggestion would be to have the ability to zoom in on each of the cards after the gameover~

(+6)(-2)

I love losing on purpose

It's pretty hot wish there was a digestion option

(+2)(-1)

Not every game needs death. Vore is a comfort for me

yeah true. Feels like it is also hard to find a good vore game without virustotal saying there is a virus or trojan on the game file such as the game DragonEaters

Let's just hope it's just windows defender having a panic attack and not a real virus. almost everything you can download and get startles it. Fnaf games in clickteam being a prime example

I just don't know many good vore games that are safe and only know a few that are

(+4)

very good game i want mor

(+1)

I like this game!

(+3)

fun little game~

not instantly obvious on how the rules work at first, so tutorial is a must, but its fun.

might be nice if there were little tool tips to help explain how things worked though

(+21)

FINALLYYYY. This took too many retries, would not recommend.

(1 edit) (+7)

What the f-

Youknow what?  That would be a great steam achiv

(+3)

Lovely and simple~ I was hoping for something fun for surviving but getting ate seems to be the most fun <3 x3

(+6)

Omgggg I love all the characters so much, they're all great designs! The gameplay is easy enough to pick up as nice little solitaire-ish experience.

10/10 would recommend, v v cool work from everyone involved!

(+1)

I agree about the design!

It's strange there's no fan art yet.

(1 edit) (+2)

Please make a Mobile version. I loved your game for Android. If possible, I only played it in the browser, but I'm loving it. If it's released for Android, it will be even better.

(1 edit) (+3)

there is now an experimental android build - we won't be listing it in app stores - but its available for folks to sideload

(+2)

Excellent little game with fantastic art and cute dialogue! It's awesome to see more strategy-based vore games since you don't have to intentionally throw in order to end up getting eaten. The solitaire-esque gameplay mechanics are surprisingly engaging, and that makes it just as much fun to try to win as it is to lose.

And, of course, big bonus points for the snakes, huff,,

(+5)

Cute game, great art, but I just can't enjoy the gameplay.

Card games like this, Balatro, and other similar games in the genre, hinge way too heavily on randomness in their gamplay loops, half of the player's ability to play being strictly dictated on luck ends up sucking the fun out of the game. I had to restart nearly ten times because I kept being put into insta-loss scenarios in the first round; was being given high tier enemies and low tier weapons, if I even got any weapons in some cases.

and the game is pretty easy if you get a good start, i won by just spamming repair to kill strong enemies and tanking weak ones

Deleted 115 days ago

There is RNG involved, but you can combat it with the right strategy - it's not completely up to luck. I found one by accident... now I won 8 times in a row xD

(+1)

Holy crap vore balatro is actually peak??

Art, really freaking nice and Im partial for the Queen card bird. But what I really wanna aplaud your team is the GAMEPLAY. I played the game with the mindset of "Oh haha, it's a simple concept and Im ready to beat it in one go". But NOPE, skill ceiling is actually fun to learn and is really high??? The strategy being to conserve the higher damaging and healing cards for the endgame while juggling enemies with weaker items is so so nuanced. I loved that you *do* need to sacrifice the characters and revive them using the pull cards.

Genuinely havent racked my brain over a game like this one because holy shit did I have a fun AND hard (literally and figuratively) time playing this game. 10/10 would play in my campus computer

(+1)

Fun game! fair amount to tinker with once you get your head around how the weapon degrading works. and the snake is cute, would definitely attempt to bribe for safe passage (with myself)

PS readme says the web build doesn't work on mobile but Works On My Machine

sigggghhhhh

i got down to 3 cards in deck and 1 on board after a few attempts but couldn't beat the game

(+1)

wait there was an august tummy jam?

Randomness of the KQJ either being repair or damage sure seems... Really off.

(+1)

Its not random, its depending on the char the card is used by.

Oh - Yeah, now I can see it. My bad on that!

(1 edit)

Okay... At few times, it certainly is interesting. Very nice concept, very well defined.
Until you just get fully stuck at the final points. Don't think I ever reached to the ending so far yet, more than 20 rounds. Skill issue? Pretty likely. But it's frustrating at this point, leaving deep sour taste.
I want to like it, I really do, but this is just sour at the end.

Very fun game, even if these types of game's aren't my type. It's the kind of game jam game that makes you wish it was expanded into it's own thing. Though I do wish there was a bit more characterization, like names for the two protagonists and maybe some of the enemies. The only thing is I wish the art assets were accessible, as I'd love to look at all of the wonderful art on it's own. 10/10 game, you all did amazing!

Oh, I also wish the game could be fullscreened, as I am unable to fullscreen it.
