hmm it runs fine on my pocket in forced GB mode through my everdrive, what flashcart are you using? gb-studio generates roms that need MBC5 support in the flashcart
yeah, I think maybe I bumped my cartridge and it got stuck there because I tried again and it works. Great game! I'd love more stuff like this on the Gameboy because there isn't anything else like this game lol. I just wish there was a bit more content because it's not really that replayable unless I've missed something
I have some plans for something larger, but that starts getting outside what gb-studio can handle. native gb/gbc development is quite complicated compared to later handhelds, imo this is reflected in the huge surge in games that later came out for the gba and its simpler memory architecture.

"Vore" in general is when a character is eaten or absorbed by another being. "Soft vore" is when someone is eaten but not hurt, as opposed to "hard vore" which usually has mutilation/digestion/death aspects. It can be SFW or NSFW, but those are the general delineations!
Vice covered the gist of it, but it's worth noting that various platforms have declarations that vore is always considered 18+/lewd content, which can lead to some... problems (for example, if the "prey" is unwilling, like in many 'giant monster eats the neighborhood' pieces of media, that is then non-consensual content, which is.... both a bit unfair to label it as such and also strictly prohibited by many sites!)
The world of vore is *wild* and has an extreme range of kinks within it, which is kind of neat in my opinion!

Does this work on original hardware? I tried it on my DMG Gameboy but it didn't go past the boot screen with the Nintendo logo

yeah, I've done some programming on RGBDS assembly for the Gameboy but only a few demos and it definitely is hard!
